Review:
Arguably one of the finest comedy in fear all the time Edgar WRIGHTS Shaun of the Dead, and 04 since its release, there were a large number of wannabes. Based on the trailers for Zombieland, however, I realized that the film has some serious potential to match Shaun quality, maybe even usurped. Having seen the movie, I'm happy to say Zombieland doing just that.Unlike a lot of comedy in recent memory where the laughs most has already been delivered to the trailer, Zombieland is filled to the brim with sound laugh-out-loud moments, thanks largely to the excellent cast. Eisenberg's amazing how the main character, Columbus, show a sense of weakness and clumsiness, without being too similar to Michael Cera. Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin also terrific, and sweet, but tough Wichita and more mature than he seems, Little Rock, respectively. The real stand-out performance, though, is Woody Harrelson as a Twinkie-lovin, zombie-hatin Tallahassee. In addition to that on Cheers and Frasier Woody Boyd, this is definitely the best performance of his career. There's also a painfully hilarious cameo appearance on halfway through the film, which would be a crime damage. Suffice to say it? Hand down? The best cameo I've ever seen film.The most surprising aspect of Zombieland, to me, is how much heart there. All the characters feel warm and alive, and what drama is to find truly feel full. In the end, you feel invested in the story and characters? I mean? the most important thing in any film of any genre can do.Zombieland immediately become a horror favorite of mine (funny or otherwise). ? lack of a better word? quotable dialogue, continuous tone playful and endearing characters, all together to create a film that will undoubtedly become a cult classic.
