With Hellboy, Guillermo del Toro would love recreated panels from artist / creator Mike Mignola comic stories and give vibrant life, setting a new benchmark adjustments that take their source material. It is a kinetic masterpiece of pop culture in the new millennium (and the thing may be that it is a film that CGI was invented). As Frank Miller fan for over 25 years, I know my job and I know Sin City? and Sin City will knock your socks off if you're a fan or a newcomer to the dark pleasures of his devilish fantasy and brutal style. Exceeded my expectations on all levels, this film ranks as one of the most enjoyable movie going experience Ive encountered years.Everything work here. From Rodriguez film and editing for easy direction (no mean feat when you consider co-chaired by Robert Miller and Quentin Tarantino have joined the mix as a special guest director), spot-on casting. The script gives Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro plenty of opportunities to chew the scenery? And they are doing it, especially Rourke, who, despite his mug buried under a thick layer of latex horror, provides one of the best performances of his career, and steals the show as MARV, giant killer with a broken heart. Ladies hold their own, too. Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Brittany Murphy and Jamie King are all great their roles, especially Dawson like a machine gun wielding dominatrix / prostitute-fairy godmother Gail. And Elijah Wood (proving that there is life after the hobbits) and Nick Stahl glory that supplies contrasting performances as vile villains, ultra-creepy and disgusting Kevin Yellow Bastard, respectively.Sin City has elegant, stylish, sexy and sick. They are also funny and violent. Certainly not a film for the whole family, but for those of us who love our movies Rated R, the movie starts the head and abdomen as mule.Heres Sin City hoping to make peppermint is 10,000 stories naked (sinful), and the city is only some of them.
